UKAFLOAT.COM was launched following The Southampton Boat Show in September 2005.
The aim of UKAFLOAT is to provide news, views and reviews of interest to UK leisure mariners.
The Southampton Boat Show 2005 was the first assigment covered by the UKAFLOAT journalists.

I will be covering The London Boat Show for UK Afloat. Be sure to say hello - I am interested in partnerships and if you can supply content - either photographs or other media - for the UK Afloat site, I will be glad to give publicity and links in return.

A highlight of The Southampton Boat Show , for me, was meeting Dominic Killinger of Square Mile International, who subsequently appeared on "The Lions Den" TV show for entrepreneurs. I'm looking forward to touching base with him again and reporting his further business developments here at UK Afloat.
